Mission 3 · AXIS Launch

The map: what each menu section is for

Your sub-account speaks your team's language, runs on your business's time zone, and you can explain what each floor of the menu is for.

Result

Your sub-account speaks your team's language, runs on your business's time zone, and you can explain what each floor of the menu is for.

Estimated time
50 minutes
Cost
US$ 0.

Analogy

The menu is the building directory: each floor has its own job.

Walk into an office building and the lobby directory tells you what's on each floor: the accountant on 3, the dentist on 5.

The left-hand menu is that directory. Each section is a floor with its own job: contacts live on one, the calendar on another, automated workflows on another.

Each unit has its own directory; the management office has another.

You don't need to know every office today. You need to know which floor to ride up to.

Why it matters

Alba set up her first reminder without checking the sub-account's time zone. It was still on a zone that wasn't Houston's. The reminder for a 10 a.m. appointment went out showing a different time, and two clients showed up late, sure the studio had made the mistake. One field in the Business Profile would have prevented it.

Step-by-step guide

Today you choose the interface language. If part of your team works in Spanish, AXIS always gives both names: the English interface label and, in parentheses, the Spanish one. The Spanish interface is only partly translated and some names are wrong (Opportunities shows as «Clientes Potenciales», Pipelines as «Secuencia» and Memberships as «Suscripciones»), which is why AXIS gives both names.

  1. Set the sub-account's language

Settings → Business Profile → Platform Language

In a Spanish-language account: Configuración → Perfil de empresa → Idioma de la plataforma

Go into your sub-account (check the switcher in the top left) and open Settings → Business Profile.

Scroll to the Business Physical Address section. Under Platform Language, choose the language most of your team uses (Spanish shows as Spanish) and save.

If someone prefers another language, they change it for their own user under Settings → My Profile, in Platform Language. It doesn't affect anyone else.

    Key points

    • The sub-account language is everyone's default; the one in your profile applies only to you. That's how a bilingual front desk works in one account.
    • My Profile only appears in Settings if you're a user of the sub-account. That's why you added yourself in mission 2.
    • If a screen has no translation, it shows in English. That's normal.

  2. Set your business's time zone

Settings → Business Profile → Time Zone

In a Spanish-language account: Configuración → Perfil de empresa → Zona horaria

On the same Business Profile page, in the Business Physical Address section, find Time Zone, next to the business address.

Choose the time zone where your business serves customers, not yours if you live elsewhere. Options look like GMT-04:00 America/New_York (EDT): offset, zone name and abbreviation. For the practice account, U.S. Central Time: the one with America/Chicago.

    Save.

    Key points

    • Workflows set to the account's time zone run their timed actions on it. If it's wrong, reminders go out at the wrong hour.
    • The business time zone is one for the whole sub-account. A teammate in another state sees appointments in their own time without changing it.
    • They do it under Settings → Calendars → Preferences → My preference → View appointments in, which defaults to Business timezone. It's also under Settings → My Profile → Calendar.

Workflows set to the account’s time zone use it; each calendar takes the time zone of its availability schedule

  3. Walk the floors of the menu

Use the interactive below: tap each section and read what it's for.

Then walk your real menu top to bottom without setting anything up yet. Just look at what's on each floor.

Write down the three sections you'll work in this week: Contacts (mission 6), Opportunities (mission 7) and Automation (mission 11).

    Key points

    • Order and names can vary slightly between accounts: HighLevel renames sections (Media Library became Media Storage), and some only appear on certain plans or permissions.
    • Calendars holds your schedule: you see appointments there. Each calendar and its notifications are set up under Settings → Calendars. You'll do it in mission 9.

  4. If your menu doesn't match AXIS

First, check the switcher: the agency menu and the sub-account menu are different.

Some features are early access and live under Settings → Labs. If a lesson uses one, it will say so.

The agency can hide features in each sub-account, and each user's permissions also change what they see.

Launchpad, the getting-started task list, shows in the menu, but a brand-new sub-account may open on Dashboard instead. HighLevel rolls it out gradually: if you don't see it, you're not missing anything.

    Key points

    • Ask AI and AI Agents show in the menu even without an AI plan. Ask AI requires an AI plan (pay per use, AI Growth or AI Employee). AI Agents has a free tier and bills AI token usage. You don't need them in AXIS Launch.

Interactive

The building directory

This interactive is used inside your AXIS account.

  1. 06Build
  2. 07Prove
  3. 08Check
  4. 09Teach it

This happens in your account.

Building, proving, checking and explaining in your own words happen inside your AXIS account, with your personal code and AXIS Tutor at your side.

  • Build. The task in your own HighLevel account, with its “done” criterion.
  • Prove. You upload your evidence and an AI reviews it first.
  • Check. Four questions, each option with its explanation.
  • Teach it. You explain it in your own words.

If it breaks

The mistakes that repeat most, and the way out.

I changed the language and some things are still in English.

That's normal: if a screen has no translation, HighLevel shows it in English. AXIS always gives you both names.

I can't find Business Profile.

Check the switcher: you need to be inside the sub-account, not in Agency View. Then open Settings.

I don't know which time zone to pick.

Where your business serves customers, even if you live somewhere else. To see appointments in your own time, use Settings → Calendars → Preferences → My preference → View appointments in.

My menu has different sections than AXIS shows.

Check that you're in the sub-account, whether the feature is under Settings → Labs, whether your plan includes it and whether your user has permission.

I changed the sub-account's language and I still see everything in English.

Check Settings → My Profile → Platform Language: your user's language overrides the sub-account's. If you don't see My Profile, you're not a user of the sub-account: add yourself as in mission 2. You can also change it in Agency View, under Settings → My Profile.
