Mission 4 · AXIS Launch

The slow approvals: start them today

Your slowest approval is already in review, or your decision is on record, while you keep building.

Result

Your slowest approval is already in review, or your decision is on record, while you keep building.

Estimated time
50 minutes
Cost
US$ 0 for Meta verification and for a recorded decision. A2P brand registration costs US$ 22.50 for low volume or sole proprietors.

Analogy

A license plate: it says who you are before you're allowed to drive.

You can own the best car on the block, freshly washed, tank full. Without plates, it doesn't leave the driveway.

A2P registration and Meta verification are the plates: they tell phone carriers and WhatsApp who you are before you're allowed to message people.

Plates take days to arrive. So you order them on day one and keep building the car while you wait.

Why it matters

Alba left her A2P registration for when everything was ready. She finished her system on a Friday night, reminders written and calendar set. On Monday, her first test texts to clients never arrived, and the registration still had days of review ahead. The system was ready; the plates weren't.

Step-by-step guide

This mission has three paths and you take one. HighLevel paths are shown as they appear in the English interface, with the Spanish name in parentheses.

  1. Pick your path

Path A · Your customers message you on WhatsApp (common in Latin America, Spain and among Spanish speakers in the U.S.) and you have a registered business: start Meta verification.

Path B · You'll text customers in the U.S.: register your A2P brand.

Path C · You don't have a registered business yet, or you're practicing with Alba Studio: record your decision and start with email, website chat and social. It's also your path if you lack the website for path A.

If you serve both, do A and B. One counts for the mission.

    Key points

    • Never register made-up details. Paths A and B are for a real business with real documents. If you're practicing with Alba Studio, your path is C.
    • Meta can deny verification if it finds misleading details, and a rejected A2P brand costs a US$ 10 appeal. Waiting until your business is real costs less.
    • In the questions, Alba owns her studio within the story and files her own registration. If you're practicing under her name, your path is C.

2Customers on WhatsApp, a registered business and a live website?
Path A · Start Meta verificationMeta Business Suite → Settings → Security Center
3No business, no website for path A, or practicing?
Path C · Record your decisionAnd start with email, website chat and social
A and B can go together; one counts for the mission
  2. Path A · Start Meta verification

Meta Business Suite → Settings → Security Center → Start verification

In a Spanish-language account: Meta Business Suite → Configuración → Centro de seguridad → Iniciar verificación

Have your legal business name, address, phone and a live HTTPS website ready.

AXIS recommends checking that your website shows the same name, address and phone you'll enter in Meta.

In your Meta business portfolio, open Settings → Security Center and choose Start verification.

Enter the details exactly as they appear on your documents. AXIS recommends no abbreviations or changed capitalization.

Meta asks you to confirm the business is yours: with an email on your domain, a call or message to the business phone, or by verifying your domain. If you don't have a domain email yet, choose the phone.

If Meta can't match your business to public records, it will ask for an official document, such as a business license or articles of incorporation. Upload it in the same request.

    Key points

    • If you don't have a live HTTPS website yet, take path C today and come back to verification once your site is published (module I.3).
    • According to HighLevel, Meta's decision takes anywhere from 10 minutes to 14 working days.
    • Unverified, Meta lets you start on WhatsApp with a messaging limit of 250. Verification is one way to move up to 2,000, and it's required for the official business account badge.
    • Connecting WhatsApp to HighLevel can happen in mission 10 or in lesson I.5.3. Today you only start the process.
    • In HighLevel, Settings → WhatsApp only shows Subscribe to WhatsApp Messaging until you subscribe. That subscription costs US$ 10 a month per sub-account (price as of Sept. 22, 2026, HighLevel's WhatsApp guide). Business verification happens in Meta, not there.

  3. Path B · Register your A2P brand

Settings → Phone System → Trust Center → A2P Messaging (SMS) → Start Registration

In a Spanish-language account: Configuración → Sistema telefónico → Centro de confianza → A2P Messaging (SMS) → Iniciar registro

Have your IRS letter with your EIN handy (CP-575 or 147C). The legal name and EIN go in exactly as they appear there.

Inside your sub-account, open Settings → Phone System and the Trust Center tab. On the A2P Messaging (SMS) card, choose Start Registration. The same card also has Brand & Campaigns and Learn More.

Enter the business's registered address (not a P.O. box) and the contact details. With an EIN, AXIS recommends an email on your own domain; as a Sole Proprietor, HighLevel asks for a Gmail, Hotmail or Yahoo address.

If you have no EIN and work alone, choose Sole Proprietor. It asks for a U.S. or Canadian mobile number for the code; virtual numbers and HighLevel numbers don't work.

At the end, HighLevel verifies your identity with Persona or an email code. Submit.

To check on it, choose Brand & Campaigns on the same card. Under the Brands tab, your brand shows the Brand Status and Identity Status columns.

    Key points

    • Without registration, texts to U.S. numbers are blocked.
    • The registration bundle costs US$ 22.50 for sole proprietors or low volume, and US$ 64 for high volume (HighLevel rates as of Sept. 24, 2026). It includes Fast Track, which aims for approval within 3 business days.
    • The campaign, the second step, comes in lesson I.4.3, once your form and legal pages are live.

  4. Path C · Record your decision

In the evidence uploader, fill in four things: where your customers are, whether you have a registered business and when, your starting channels, and when you'll resume verification.

If you're practicing to work in another company's account, choose "Not applicable" for the business and the date.

Your starting channels: email (mission 5), website chat (mission 10) and Facebook and Instagram messages.

Put the date you'll come back to verification on your calendar, for when your business is registered or your site is live.

    Key points

    • Connecting a Facebook Page to HighLevel requires admin access to the Page, not Meta business verification.
    • Texting U.S. customers without registration isn't an option: those texts are blocked. You'll come back to A2P in Phase I, module I.4.

Interactive

How long each plate takes

This interactive is used inside your AXIS account.

  1. 06Build
  2. 07Prove
  3. 08Check
  4. 09Teach it

This happens in your account.

Building, proving, checking and explaining in your own words happen inside your AXIS account, with your personal code and AXIS Tutor at your side.

  • Build. The task in your own HighLevel account, with its “done” criterion.
  • Prove. You upload your evidence and an AI reviews it first.
  • Check. Four questions, each option with its explanation.
  • Teach it. You explain it in your own words.

If it breaks

The mistakes that repeat most, and the way out.

My A2P brand was rejected.

Check that the legal name and EIN match the IRS letter exactly and that the address isn't a P.O. box. If your EIN is new, wait 30 to 90 days from its issue date. Fix and resubmit; an appeal costs US$ 10.

I don't have a U.S. mobile number for sole proprietor.

The code requires a U.S. or Canadian mobile number, not a virtual or HighLevel one. If you don't have one, record your decision (path C) and return to A2P in module I.4.

Meta asks for a document and I don't know which.

An official business document, such as a business license or articles of incorporation. Upload it in the same request.

I can't find the Trust Center.

Make sure you're inside your sub-account (check the switcher), then open Settings → Phone System and the Trust Center tab. Older help articles call the area Phone Numbers.

My registration has been in review for days.

That's normal: standard brands take several business days. Keep going with the missions; AXIS Launch doesn't depend on that approval to get you operational.
